Tonight, we invite you back to the arena to have church with us, right here at one of our favorite places. We’re trading in pulpits for flat beds, carpet and pews for arena dirt and bleachers, but worshiping the same God. We will have fish plates for supper at 7:00. WeRCalled will be leading us in worship, and Bro. Gevan Spinney will be bringing us a word from the Lord. Free admission! Please come and bring a friend too! We can’t wait to have church with all of you!

Great news! We will be having Homecoming this year at Rocky Mount Cemetery in Ringgold, LA! Homecoming will be on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 11:00 am. Everyone is invited to bring food to share after the service.

We are currently looking for a person or group to provide special music for the service. We also need someone to lead music. If anyone is interested, please contact Kathy Rushworth at 318-455-6728.

Opening for Groundskeeper

We need a groundskeeper for the Rocky Mt. Cemetery. Rocky Mt. Cemetery is located on Hwy 154 across from the Hebrew Church Road, a few miles east of Lake Bistineau.

We need someone who will mow the entire cemetery grounds, which includes the cemetery, area around the structures, both sides of the driveway and the area near the highway. The grass must be clipped around each headstone and around the structures.

Fence line may be sprayed to keep grass from growing there. Also, the corner posts on the property needs to be sprayed to keep grass/weeds from growing. Grounds must be cleaned up which may require raking or picking up debris, as needed.

Trash cans must be taken to the highway. Dead flowers or strewn flowers must be discarded. All sunken graves, holes, ruts, or low areas must be filled with dirt, which is kept on the property.

This is more than just mowing. We need groundskeepers that we can call and help keep cemetery looking it’s best. The grounds are mowed Spring, Summer, and Fall but there may be issues that arise during winter, as well. The Rocky Mt. Cemetery Association is not responsible for any damage that is caused during the mowing so anyone who takes this job should have liability insurance.

Funeral services for Otis Terry McCoy, 66, of Batesville, AR (formerly of Ringgold, LA) will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in Rockett Funeral Home Chapel, Ringgold, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Milton Vining and Sis. Martha Grigg. Burial will follow in Rocky Mount Cemetery, Ringgold, LA. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 P.M. until service time at Rockett Funeral Home, Ringgold, LA.
Terry was born December 13, 1954 in Ringgold, LA and passed away January 1, 2021 in Batesville, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, O. T. and Elowine McCoy; sisters, Shirley LeBlanc and Bonnie McCoy; brother Donnie McCoy and infant brother, William McCoy.
Left to cherish his memory include his sister, Hilda McCoy of Batesville, AR; niece, Sherry Stott and husband, Dwayne, Jr of Batesville, AR; Jonathan LeBlanc, Jr of Batesville, AR and David LeBlanc and wife, Monya of Amboy, WA; several great nieces and nephews, three great, great nephews, and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Mack McCoy, Greg Walker, Jonathan LeBlanc, Jr, Dwayne Stott, Jr, Mark Thornton, and Lee Stott. Honorary pallbearers will be Margene McCoy, David, LeBlanc, Cole LeBlanc, Isaac LeBlanc, Gabriel LeBlanc, Michael LeBlanc, and Josh Vining.
