I'll be out for the next 4 weeks recuperating, but if you want a church home, come and meet the people of The Baptist Church @ Ebenezer. They are amazing. I should be back on July 5th. Either way, God is good, sovereign, and worthy to be praised!

This week's sermon explored Romans 12:9-21, looking into what genuine, sincere love looks like within the body of Christ and in our witness to the world. Paul’s message challenged us to move beyond surface-level church politeness to authentic, sacrificial love that reflects the gospel we've received. The passage reminds us that our transformation through Christ should create a countercultural community where love becomes visible in how we treat one another - not with pretense or hypocrisy, but with the kind of love that wants God's best for every person, even when relationships are difficult.

BCE Family,

This week's sermon explored Romans 12:1-8, marking a crucial transition from understanding the gospel to living out the gospel. We examined what it means to be "living sacrifices" in a culture that constantly tells us to prioritize ourselves, follow our hearts, and live our truth. Paul's call to present our bodies as living sacrifices isn't about weakness—it's about worship. Every moment we surrender to God, every decision we make to please Him rather than ourselves, becomes an act of spiritual worship. This passage challenges us to reject the world's mold, renew our minds through God's Word and presence, think humbly about ourselves, and use our gifts to serve the body of Christ.

If you missed Sunday’s sermon you can watch it on our BCE app. If you haven’t downloaded the app, please reach out to me and I’ll help you connect. 912-713-8615.
