As kids head back to school this week, our Armor of God sermon series has us thinking about spiritual warfare a little differently. The battle isn't just one we face as adults...our children are stepping into it too.

They'll hear plenty of voices telling them what to believe, who to be, and what is "right." After Sunday's message on the Belt of Truth, the reminder feels especially important: teach them God's Word at home. Talk about it. Live it in front of them. Give them the Truth so they can recognize the lies.

🙏Lord, protect our children as they head back to school. Give them courage to stand firm, wisdom to recognize deception, and hearts rooted deeply in Your Word. Be with our teachers, staff, bus drivers, parents, and all those caring for them. Help us as families to faithfully point our children to Jesus and equip them with Your Truth.

🌾 Fair week is here! We have lots of young people from RGC spending the week in the barns and show ring. Stop by, say hello, and let them know you're cheering them on! Your support means more than you know!💛

Lord, Thank You for the opportunity these young people have to show the work of their hands this week. Give them calm hearts, strength, and joy in every moment. Keep them safe, help them honor You in all they do, and let Your peace be greater than any nerves they may feel. May their kindness and character point others to You.
