I apologize that we haven't been posting lately. Finally purchased a new microphone to be able to keep our services posted for those unable to worship with us in person.
This past week, as I've been making preparations for our upcoming Good Friday service, I came across this picture. I can't for the life of me figure out where this is from. I'm usually pretty savvy with my Google skills, but alas, they've failed me.
I felt compelled to share this with you all. At first, I felt it was too disturbing, but then again that's the power of it. Good Friday should be disturbing. Looking into the eyes of our savior who's allowed himself to endure every insult and form of human suffering we inflict upon one another, because he longs to see his torturers transformed. It's not weakness or apathy which drove Jesus to the cross, but love.
We hope to see you at our upcoming Good Friday service, or any Sunday morning for that matter. Our service is early, but our community is genuine. Please join us in memory of Christ's sacrifice.
