🔥 Blessed Pentecost Sunday 🔥

“All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” (Acts 2:4)

Today we remember the outpouring of the Holy Spirit—a reminder that God empowers us to be effective witnesses to a broken world. Go forth in the Spirit and have a Blessed Pentecost Sunday!

As a suggestion, an effective way to share the Good News could be to give away a copy of Our Daily Bread’s devotional booklet to a friend, colleague or neighbour.

Gracious Lord, a care package is more than its contents when it has been prayed over — it becomes a vessel of love and kindness, a tangible sign that someone has placed its recipient before the throne of Your grace. We give thanks for the volunteers and staff who take the time to pray over what they send, asking You to work through it in ways no human hand could accomplish. Receive our thanks for this ministry of mercy and intercession. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
