Most people will never think about the week after Pentecost.

There was no conference. No special event. No headline announcement.

The disciples had witnessed the ministry of Jesus, the Cross, the Resurrection, the Ascension, and the outpouring of the Holy Ghost. Then came the moment when the responsibility was placed on their shoulders.

The Church was born, and the mission had begun.

We are here today because they never stopped burning. They preached when it was difficult. They stood when it was costly. They carried the Gospel to a world that desperately needed hope.

The same Holy Spirit that empowered them still empowers us.

As we enter the week after Pentecost, let the fire burn fresh in your heart. Do not retreat from your assignment. Represent Christ boldly. Advance His Kingdom faithfully.

The mandate has not changed.
