The offering money from Vacation Bible School is being mailed to ELCA World Hunger/ELCA Good Gifts today .
Day 1: We learned about sharing food: the children purchased a goat and 🐐🐥🐥 chicks.
Day 2: We learned about good health: the children purchased water filters for people to have clean drinking water when safe drinking water isn’t available 💧
Day 3: When learned about Jesus teaching that we are all equal: the children paid for two girls to have a uniform and school supplies so they can attend school 👧
Day 4: We learned about education. The children purchased school supplies ✏️📝📚
Day 5: We learned about peace: The children purchased mosquito nets to help prevent people from getting malaria, so they can have peace of mind. 🕊️
Thank you to everyone for supporting our Vacation Bible School program by prayer, volunteering, spreading the word, monetarily, and for bringing your children, grandchildren, family and friends so they can have a great time together while learning about God, the father, God, the Son, and God, the Holy Spirit.

Vacation Bible School Offering post🤟🤝❤️
We collected $300.00 for ELCA World Hunger (ELCA Good Gifts) In order to give the children a vote in how we used the offering to help others, we gave 30 blocks ( no matter the size of the block) a value of $10.00 each. We had bags that listed what they could help purchase with their $10.00 block and then when it was their turn, they put their block in what they wanted to help purchase with the $10.00 block. 🗳️

We had one bag for goats and chicks. There were 7 blocks placed in that bag.
Please ask your VBS students to help decide if we should buy one goat for $50.00 and two sets of 10 chicks for $10.00 each; a total of $20.00 for $20.00 chicks or should we not buy a goat and get 7 sets of 10 chicks for $70.00?
