The mountains are symbols of strength. They are vast and tall. How crazy is it to understand that God's love for you is even stronger? Nothing on this earth lasts forever. But God's love will never end. How can this truth encourage you this week?

Throughout the Old Testament, Ashes were a symbol of grief, sorrow, and repentance. The fires in Colorado are a sorrowful and somber reminder of the frailty of life. As the forests have been burned and firefighters put their lives on the line, we are reminded of how precious each day is. The beauty of ashes is the new growth. We here in Ouray County are still experiencing an active fire. But we can look forward to the new growth to come.
