Encouraging progress is happening at the West Entrance!

Our new access ramp is continuing to take shape, and we are getting closer to the finish line. This project is an important step in making our building more welcoming and accessible for all who come through our doors. We are grateful for the work that has already been done and excited to see this project nearing completion. And once this is wrapped up, we will be moving toward our next big project: Operation New Bathrooms!

Thank you for your continued patience, support, and generosity as we make these much-needed improvements to our church building.

Today we celebrate with these four young women as they confirmed the faith given to them in Holy Baptism and confessed as their own the promises of God.

After two years of study, prayer, questions, and growth, they were confirmed in worship and surrounded by the prayers and encouragement of their church family. We give thanks to God for His work in their lives and ask Him to continue strengthening them in faith, hope, and love.

Congratulations, confirmands! We are so proud of you and grateful to walk alongside you in Christ.

We will be receiving ministry updates from leadership as well as discussing the imminent renovations and progress already made. Grab a cup of coffee after worship and join us in the Sanctuary!

There will be no Connection Groups on 6/14, but childcare will be available.

Confirmation interviews have continued throughout the week, and we are joyfully preparing for Confirmation Sunday.

As these students get ready to confess the faith into which they were baptized, we give thanks for the work God has been doing in their lives through His Word, through their families, and through the church.

As part of Confirmation, students choose a Confirmation verse, sometimes called a life verse. This is a passage of Scripture they can return to when life feels tiring, confusing, joyful, heavy, or full of change. God’s Word is not just something we study for a season. It is a gift that continues to strengthen, comfort, correct, and remind us who we are in Christ.

Our Bethlehem quilting crew wrapped up their last session before summer break by packing and mailing their quilts to Lutheran World Relief!

Through LWR’s Mission Quilt ministry, these handmade quilts are distributed around the world to people facing poverty, disaster, displacement, and other difficult circumstances. They can be used as warm bedding, floor coverings, simple shelter, or as a practical gift of care and comfort.

Thank you to our quilters for the time, skill, and steady work they put into this ministry throughout the year. These quilts are a simple, practical way to serve our neighbors around the world.

You're invited! Join us for Light in the Night, a benefit recital for Lighthouse Pregnancy Resource Center, hosted by Benedict Peng. This evening concert will feature music from the Romantic Era, including works by Franz Schubert, Gabriel Fauré, Johannes Brahms, and more. Music played by BLC members, and others!

Bethlehem was happy to donate a wreath for this year's Memorial Day service!

Held annually by the American Legion Post 53, this community-wide event serves as a solemn tribute to the men and women of all U.S. Armed Forces branches who made the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you, Margie, for this beautiful photo of the wreath!
