Lord Jesus, may I never be ashamed of You or of Your words. May I never shrink before men to speak Your name in season or to declare Your truths in the right way and time and place. Give me wisdom but also zeal, zeal for Your name and for Your Word. Amen.

Lord, there is none like You, not among all the gods of the nations. We cannot compare You to the sons of men and find it an adequate picture of You. We see You revealed in nature, in Your Word, and Your Law in our consciences. You reveal Yourself more and more to Your people as they grow in You. But all eternity will not be enough to fully comprehend Your infinite greatness. Amen.

Dear God, thank you for loving me enough to send Your Son to save my life. Thank you for not turning away from me while I was yet a sinner even though You had every reason to be ashamed of me. Forgive me for the times when I was ashamed and scared to share my faith in You with others. Give me the boldness to share Your hope with others. In Jesus' name, amen.

Father of Heaven, who gave His only begotten son, I thank you for Your sacrifice. May we praise the name of Christ in the highest, for dying upon the cross to give us the gift of grace and freedom. May the unjust be cleansed, and upon the cross our souls be forgiven. May the blood You shed not be in vain but be always with us, as the rising sun, shining down on all man the message of salvation. Amen.

Prayers for a new month:

Loving God, my strength and light in the world, I rejoice in Your love. With this prayer I hope to thank you for sending Jesus to live and die for us, for we would truly be lost without him. Give me the wisdom to follow You more closely, love more dearly, and trust everything else to You. In your name I pray, Amen.

Join us this Sunday for communion services at 10am.
