Another great week serving our community!

One highlight was sharing tennis shoes, sleeping bags, and rolling suitcases with our friends at Shower Power.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with organizations that are making a difference and to help get needed items into the hands of people who can use them.

We can give because you give.

Because of the generosity of our donors, we were able to provide:

• A dining table and chairs to Southern Christian Services
• A dresser to Youth Villages
• A dresser to a foster parent
• A rocking chair to a foster parent

Every donation makes a difference. What may be an extra piece of furniture in one home can become something desperately needed in another.

Last week, we sent a tub of men’s jeans to our friends at Shower Power to help replenish their stock.

We love partnering with like-minded organizations that serve others and make a real difference in our community. When we work together, we can help meet more needs and be a greater blessing to those around us.

HUGE THANK YOU to our friends at Two Men and a Truck for coming out and helping us get our furniture area organized!

What a blessing this is, not only to us, but to the families and individuals we serve throughout our community. Your generosity, hard work, and willingness to serve make a real difference.

The week is only half over, and we've already had the privilege of serving our community in meaningful ways!

We provided a tub of tennis shoes to the Ridgeland Police Department for their female trustees.

We also delivered a stroller and a dining table with chairs to a local family through CarePortal, operated by Lifeline Children's Services in Mississippi.

We are grateful for every opportunity to serve our neighbors and for the churches, volunteers, and donors who make these moments possible. Thank you for partnering with us to meet practical needs and share hope throughout our community.

It was another busy week at The Resource Center, and we're grateful for every opportunity to serve our community.

Last week, we provided:

Clothes and bedding for a new foster placement.
School uniforms and school supplies for a mom and her two children.
Clothes for a domestic violence survivor and her child.
A dining room table for a young adult getting their first place after aging out of the foster care system.
We were also blessed to have volunteers from Madison Central spend time sorting children's clothing to help us prepare for future families.

A special thank you to our faithful friends from Highland Colony Baptist Church. They have been incredibly consistent in serving with us throughout the summer. This week they helped stock the house and prepare everything for us to open on Tuesday morning.

We are thankful for every volunteer, donor, and partner who makes this ministry possible. Together, we are able to meet practical needs while sharing the hope and love of Christ.

Donations can be dropped off at Trace Ridge Church, 238 Lake Harbour Drive, Ridgeland, MS 39157. Our donation area is located on the back side of the church under the covered drive.

Sometimes it's the simple things that make the biggest difference.

We recently learned of an individual who didn't have a refrigerator, which meant he was limited in the food he could keep and prepare. Thanks to our incredible partners at The Orchard and Northminster Church, he now has a refrigerator of his own!

We are so thankful for churches and community partners who continue to meet practical needs and show the love of Christ in tangible ways.

"And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." — Philippians 4:19

Praise the Lord for His goodness and for those who faithfully serve others!

Last week, we were blessed to meet D.

D is a 30-year-old Air Force veteran who served as a mechanic on C-131 aircraft. He is currently working part-time but is eager to find stable, full-time employment.

We know our community is full of people who love to help. If you know of any job opportunities that might be a good fit, please send us a message. We'll be happy to connect the information with D.

Thank you for helping us bring hope, not just through food and clothing, but through meaningful opportunities that can change lives.
