A special thank you to our cantor, Nicole, for her beautiful performance of Mendelssohn’s “O Rest in the Lord” from Elijah.

Classical music has a remarkable way of speaking to the soul, reminding us to slow down, listen deeply, and find meaning even in difficult moments. “O Rest in the Lord” offers a timeless message: patience is a virtue, especially in times of struggle.

Like a storm that eventually gives way to calm, patience can separate fear from faith. It teaches us to trust the process, to rest when we cannot control the outcome, and to believe that brighter days will come.

💛 From family reunions to returning from family vacations, there is something truly special about being together. Today, on Communion Sunday, our church family came together with grateful hearts, joyful spirits, and open arms. ✝️
We had such a wonderful time worshiping, sharing Communion, and catching up with familiar faces and loved ones during Sunday’s service.
