Living under God’s will

Life brings us both good times and bad. As humans, we must learn to handle every situation that comes our way. When things are going well, we are happy, yet often we fail to give God the credit He deserves. When life becomes difficult, we turn to God because we need things to get back on the right track. God wants us to seek Him in both good times and bad. He wants us to give thanks when things are going well and to acknowledge that they are going well because He is leading us along a fruitful path. When things are not right—when we are facing hardships—we have a God who has the power to bring us out of our situation. Many of the difficulties we face arise because we do not listen to God's voice, while others stem from the fact that the enemy never rests. We must remember that God is always waiting for us to seek Him, and He will open the way for us to overcome our struggles. Even in the midst of hardship, we must always give thanks to the Lord; He is the only one who can deliver us from our difficulties. Psalms 143:10 says: “Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.” Let us learn to live by doing God's will. God's will is for us to give Him thanks at all times, because difficult moments are what teach us to appreciate fruitful ones. Difficult moments shape us into the people God wants us to be. Let us always remember that God is there for us at all times. Let us remember that God wants us to come to Him in both good times and bad, for that is His will. We navigate the world, but it is the Lord who holds the helm. Let us live a life of joy in the Lord at all times, and we will see a more fruitful future with fewer stumbling blocks if we allow ourselves to be guided by Him.

Hebrews 10:35-36
Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.

God Sees Everything

There are times when we go through situations that sadden us or cause us to doubt God. We see no way out and feel alone. Yet, God is present in our lives at all times. Jeremiah 16:17 says, "For My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from Me, nor is their iniquity concealed from My sight."
God is present in all our paths, whether good or bad. He always answers our requests in His own time. God does not need to evaluate our lives, for nothing is hidden from Him; He sees and knows everything. Let us maintain the faith that when we come to Him with our requests or pleas, He already knows them, and in His perfect time, we will receive our answer. Let us be obedient and faithful to God, and He will guide us along the best path.

Censorship is alive and well in YouTube. I used to post my sermons and click on Made for kids. Now I have to click on Not made for kids in order to be able to post them. They want to hide the truth of the Word of God from our kids. No matter what YouTube does, God is still on His throne, and He is still in control.

Jesus Has the Answers

Life brings us many good things, as well as things that are not so good. How we walk through our days—and with whom we walk—defines how we navigate the good paths and the bad. Jesus is the only way, yet we often stray away to satisfy our own desires, distancing ourselves from the path He has for us. God has given us knowledge, wisdom, and understanding so that when we find ourselves drifting away from His path, we can return to His feet. It is like the GPS in our vehicles: when we take a wrong turn, it recalculates and puts us back on the right track to reach our destination. Through Jesus, God does something similar for us. When we begin to drift away from Jesus, He alerts us; when we ask for forgiveness, God forgives us and leads us back to the narrow path that leads to Him. We can never go wrong with Jesus, provided we walk with Him. There is no other way—and no other way to live a life filled with joy, even amidst difficult times—than by walking with the One who sacrificed Himself for us. The only Truth is found in Jesus, and He alone can lead us to eternal life. All God desires is for us to seek more of Him, draw closer to Him, and surrender ourselves completely to Him. God seeks repentant people. God seeks those who desire a better life of faith and love for their neighbors. God seeks faithful and obedient people who walk according to His Word, which is our GPS for living a life of fullness, love, and the joy He gives us. Jesus is the Driver of our lives, the One who guides us to live in humility. Imagine one of today’s self-driving vehicles that takes people to their destination; that is what Jesus is to us. He is the vehicle that guides us to our destination when we are faithful and obedient to His commandments. Jesus said in John 14:6: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Prayer is one of the ways we communicate with our Guide so that He may always lead us along paths of goodness and love. Difficulties will always arise, but if we lay everything at the foot of the cross, we will maintain our joy and see more positive outcomes. Jesus is the only One who can give us joy amidst the storms. He is the only One who can take control when we have exhausted every human effort, and He alone can grant us peace in the midst of the storm. Let us seek more of Jesus, and everything on our journey through this world will become easier.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Joy Can Be Found Everywhere

Joy is not limited to perfect days or special moments. We can find it in a quiet morning, a conversation with someone we love, a song that lifts our spirit, or even a difficult season where God is helping us grow. When we slow down and look for His goodness, we begin to notice reasons for joy in places we once overlooked. Our circumstances may change, but God’s presence remains, and knowing He is with us gives us a joy that the world cannot take away.

Bible Verse:

“Yet I will rejoice in the Lord.”
