All singers of all ages are warmly invited to join our Pick-Up Choir on Sunday mornings! We gather in the Choir Room at 9:00 a.m. for a brief rehearsal before the 10:00 a.m. Eucharist. We'll prepare an easy anthem and review the hymns for the service. No robes, auditions, or prior choir experience are required—just bring your voice and a willingness to sing. We'll sit in the pews during the service and then come up to sing at the offertory. Whether you or your child is a regular choir member, have been involved in music at St. Stephen's in the past, or simply curious about joining us, we'd love to have you participate. If you know you can make it on certain Sundays, you can add your name to our choir's sign-up here.

Fathers in Our Lives
We give our thanks, Creator God, for the fathers in our lives. This Father's Day we remember the many sacrifices fathers make for their families, and the ways--both big and small--they lift children to achieve dreams thought beyond reach. So too, we remember all those who have helped fill the void when fathers pass early or are absent; grandfathers and uncles, brothers and cousins, teachers, pastors and coaches and the women of our families. For those who are fathers, we ask for wisdom and humility in the face of the task of parenting. Give them the strength to do well by their children and by You. In Your Holy name, O God, we pray. - Rev. Chuck Currie

In Celebration
We pray, O Lord, for change. Jesus you revealed God through your wise words and loving deeds, and we encounter you still today in the faces of those whom society has pushed to the margins. Guide us, through the love you revealed, to establish the justice you proclaimed, that all peoples might dwell in harmony and peace, united by that one love that binds us to each other, and to you. - adapted from Racial Healing and Liturgical Resources by the Archdiocese of Baltimore
