Friday Aug 21 - The new UMC Family Ministry Team is kicking off back to school with an all church ice cream social Friday August 21st. Come as you are, treats will be provided. Stay tuned for more details.

Upper Room Suppers - Friday Free Community Dinner
The church's free community meals currently are offered from 5:00-6:00 pm
on FLEX Fridays in the Social Hall parking lot via drive-thru pickup (July 3 & 17)

Ridgecrest Salvation Army: helps Cure for Hunger, Helps Overcome Poverty, Teaches Kids, Provides Shelter when needed, Explore Rehabilitation, Helps with Disaster Services and Share’s God’s Love.
For June the suggested food items are canned ravioli and canned spaghetti. There is a donation collection box in the sanctuary lobby/narthex.
June Missions Focus –
Salvation Army Food Bank & Collect Books for Altrusa Literacy Program
Ridgecrest Altrusa: shares the love of reading with kids and adults. The provide RC Hospital newborns with books, provides birthday books at local school, has 3 Little Libraries in town and hold many more events where they provide books – mostly to kids, but adults too!
