Just a reminder, due to the July 4th weekend, we will be having one service at 9:30am this Sunday, July 5th.

8am folks? You get to sleep in. 10:30am folks, set an alarm or you'll be to church in time for communion.

Pastor Smee had a great time taking some of our youth to Medieval Times on Thursday. The food was great and the show phenomenal. Their knight won a lot but didn't win the whole thing, but that's ok. He had nice hair.

This month's Spotlight on Missions is NALC Seminary support and recruitment.
Both of our church body affiliations are looking at shortfalls in the neighborhood of 300 pastors over the next seven to ten years.
To address this issue on the NALC side of things, they've brought in a pastor to focus in on seminarian recruitment. In just a couple of years, seminary enrollment has doubled and he thinks he can double it again in the next year. Let's support the recruitment and training of tomorrow's pastors.

Open Hearth YG had fun on their Mall Scavenger Hunt on Sunday. The girls won by a hair, but they all got fro-yo, so they were all winners.
