Church Family,

I cannot begin to express the joy and gratitude I have felt during these first days as your pastor. I am deeply humbled by the messages, prayers, words of encouragement, and acts of kindness that you have shared with me and my family. The love you have shown us throughout this season of transition has meant more than I can express.

These first days have only strengthened my excitement for what the Lord has ahead for our church. Seeing His people on mission, believers following Christ in baptism, families worshiping together, and our church faithfully gathering week after week, gives me great hope for the days to come. The Lord has been faithful to this church for generations, and I believe we can look toward the future with confidence because Christ is the head of FBC Richton.

Our family is especially grateful for the celebration planned for Sunday the 30th. We hope you will come by so that we can visit with you and personally thank you for the love you have shown our family. Please do not feel obligated to bring a gift. Your prayers, encouragement, and the opportunity to serve alongside you are more than enough.

It is a privilege to be your pastor, and I am grateful that the Lord has called us to walk together in the days ahead. To God be the Glory!

Please join us in welcoming Bro. Kevin Barnette to the role of Senior Pastor at Richton First Baptist Church. Over the past five years, Bro. Kevin and his family have made a tremendous impact on our church and community as he served in his role as Associate Pastor. The Barnette family is a blessing to Richton and we are beyond excited to see all that God will do through Bro. Kevin’s leadership.
