This is exactly what we’re trying to change for the Kingdom in Honduras. Please pray that we continue to increase in receiving the support we need and that God gives us creative ideas of how to help during the extreme quarantine that is happening in Honduras.

On the whole, the modern church hasn’t discipled their converts. The emphasis has been on getting people born again, but the follow-up has been poor at best in most cases. The pastors have become absorbed with bringing a motivational message that might encourage someone or meet a momentary need. Very few ground their members in God’s Word to the degree the individual members can receive from God on their own. Hence, the body of Christ is dependent on the clergy to get any answers or insights from God. That is not what Jesus commanded. Happy Sunday! It's been a very long time since I've posted any updates about Elevation Ministries, and I apologize. We're all dealing with this Covid-19 virus, and I wanted to be sensitive to that. However, it has affected our brothers & sisters in Christ in Honduras in a more extreme way than it has us in the United States. We're trying very hard as a ministry to find a way to support our partner churches there and the pastors in this difficult time. I ask that each of you joins us in prayer to seek God for the necessary funds and new ways of working. God bless and stay safe!

I hope everyone is having a good weekend! Just wanted to let everyone know about an opportunity to sponsor one of the boys that we know in Honduras with his school. He is about 12 years old, and it will cost around $50 a month for him to get a decent education with some English learning. Most people don’t know that it is now very dangerous to go to public school in Honduras especially in the areas we work, and some parents refuse to send their kids because it’s better for them to be uneducated in their opinion than for something violent to happen to them. We want this boy to have a decent education in a safe environment with opportunities for his future. We’re asking that you join us in this endeavor for this child.
