PARKING
Parking for this event is limited. Please try to carpool. The West Franklin Street garage St. James's shares with Temple Beth Ahabah will not be available for WomanKind, and fan parking permits are required for most street parking longer than 1 hour.
We have 60 spots reserved at the One Monument Parking Deck, 410 Stuart Circle (3rd and 4th floors). We also expect to have 60 spots at First English Lutheran Church at 1603 Monument Avenue. The closest self-pay parking garage is VCU’s West Broad Street Parking Deck at the corner of W. Broad St. and N. Harrison St. (address 1111 W. Broad Street), which is 3 blocks from St. James’s. You could also consider using transit to get to WomanKind!
WORKSHOP ASSIGNMENTS
You will receive your workshop assignments when you check in to register at the entrance to St. James’s Episcopal Church.
BOOK SHOP
At registration all attendees will receive a copy of Lisa Sharon Harper’s book "Fortune: How Race Broke My Family and the World and How to Repair It All." She will be available to sign books during the weekend.
Each WomanKind we've offered a bookstore that's filled with thoughtful and engaging books. It's our delight to once again welcome Fountain Books as our in-house shop. Even better, they contribute a % of your purchases for future WomanKinds!
