It is with deep sadness that Greater Mount Moriah Baptist Church announces the passing of our beloved Deacon Aurelia Gaynell Lomax.

For decades, Deacon Lomax faithfully served this church as a teacher, mentor, choir member, prayer warrior, Deacon, and Chair of the Deacon Board. Her wisdom, grace, leadership, and unwavering commitment to God helped shape generations of believers and strengthened the life of our congregation.

We invite family, friends, former members, and all whose lives were touched by her ministry to join us as we celebrate her life and legacy.
