Whether you're single, married, divorced, or remarried, we all stand in the same place before God. We've all sinned, and we all need a Savior. Romans 5:8 reminds us that Christ died for us while we were still sinners. He didn't wait for us to get our lives together.

So stop trying to prove you're worthy of His love. Jesus came to rescue you, not reward you for getting everything right. ❤️

One of the gifts of Christian community is having people who will pray with us, walk with us, and remind us that we don’t have to carry everything alone.

If there’s something weighing on you right now, don’t keep it to yourself. Reach out to someone you trust and ask them to pray with you this week.

A marriage doesn't fall apart overnight. Long before someone walks away, there's often a heart that's stopped being willing to listen. It starts when you refuse to apologize, keep score of everything your spouse does wrong, or decide that being right matters more than making things right.

And the hardest part? You can know exactly what God says about marriage and still decide you're not going to follow it.

Before asking God to change your spouse, ask Him to show you where your own heart has grown hard. Because you can't build a healthy marriage while refusing to let God work on your heart.

Jesus is clear that following Him means denying ourselves and taking up our cross. But what does that actually look like on a normal Tuesday?

It might mean forgiving when we’d rather stay angry, being generous when we’d rather hold tightly to what we have, choosing obedience when it’s inconvenient, or letting go of our need to always be in control.

Surrender is choosing, again and again, to trust Jesus enough to do what He says. 💚

When loving your spouse gets hard, remember how Jesus has loved you. He didn't walk away when loving us cost Him something. He remained faithful, even to the cross.

The question isn't just whether your spouse is making you happy. It's whether you're allowing Jesus to shape the way you love them.

That's the kind of commitment worth fighting for.
