OUR VISION:
To disciple believers through the Word of God; teaching them to take their rightful position as children of God by living full productive and prosperous lives: spiritually, physically, financially, emotionally, and socially. OUR HISTORY:
New Bethel UHC was birthed on October 1, 1976, when the Lord inspired Sister Lucinda Midgette to find a place where His people could be free to worsh
ip Him. She shared this vision with Mother Emma Houston and these two women organized a meeting and as a result of their efforts, the New Bethel Church family came into being. Forbes, Sr., General President of the Original United Holy Church International, appointed Elder William Forbes of Norfolk, VA to serve as the first Pastor. of Greensboro, NC was appointed as pastor. He served from September 1979 through September 1984. On September 7, 1984, Bishop Lindberg Edwards was elected and installed as Pastor of New Bethel United Holy Church. In May of 2000 the Original United Holy Church Denomination, in which we were affiliated, reunited with the Original United Holy Church of America, Inc. In February 2003 under the leadership of Bishop Edwards being led of the Holy Spirit, New Bethel UHC became a separate entity from the United Holy Church of America, Inc. As a result of this separation the ministry experienced a name change and is now known as New Bethel Christian Fellowship International. In 2005 the church purchased 30 acres of land on Belmont Road in Chesterfield, VA and in October 2005, under God’s direction, we left 313 East Broad Rock Road. This was a major move in the life of this great church as the Lord has truly enlarged our territory and blessed us indeed. We are now in our transitional building still praising God as we anticipate moving to the next phase of our Three-Phase Project…
To God be the Glory!
