In a large family like ours, it’s important that everyone is connected to a small group where they can grow together and care for one another. This inter-generational group is 40-49. On last evening, we had a faith-filled SPBC Fusion Leadership Meeting. We learned more about each other, how to effectively lead our group in different areas and the “cost of being called.” We are grateful for the innovative leadership of Rev. Michelle Townsend and for her time and effort in everything she presents to us. She also surprised us with dinner by the SPBC Culinary team. Great Fellowship 🙌🏾

Yesterday, our SPBC Fusion (40yr Olds) hosted what we called a “Table Talk” after the 9am service at our Creighton Campus for the first time. We had an empowering and enriching time, discussing the message brought forth by Dr. Lance Watson and ways to apply it to our daily lives.

What was supposed to be a 30-minute breakout session ended up lasting almost an hour before we realized the time! We all were so engulfed in deep thought, being honest and transparent with each other whilst answering the questions from the accompanying guide provided.

Thanks to Rev. Michelle Townsend for her innovative leadership, to our helpers and to all who attended our first of many Table Talks! Stay tuned for our next one!
