1 Timothy 2:1-6

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Job 28 teaches us the importance of wisdom and where we can get it.

The focal point of Job 28 is this verse:

"But where shall wisdom be found?
and where is the place of understanding?" Job 28:12 (Repeated again in verse 20).

Job 28 teaches us in verse 13 and verse 21 that man doesn't know the answer:

"Man knoweth not the price thereof;
neither is it found in the land of the living." Job 28:13

"Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living,
and kept close from the fowls of the air." Job 28:21

Towards the end of the chapter, we learn the answer to the question stated in verse 12 and 20:

"God understandeth the way thereof,
and he knoweth the place thereof." Job 28:23

The answer God gives us is found in the last verse of the chapter:

"And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom;
and to depart from evil is understanding." Job 28:28

Do you want true wisdom? It starts by fearing the Lord--which means you properly understand who He is and who we are in relation to Him.

You understand that He is Awesome, He is the Creator of all things, He is Holy and Righteous, He is Just, He is Love, He is Good, He is Lord, and He is Savior. Therefore, because of all that He is, He is the only One worthy of worship and obedience.

If you understand this fear of the Lord, you will depart from evil.

How do you depart? It begins by being born again by the grace of God by believing that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

Jesus Christ, God's one and only Son, came to live this life perfectly for you and me. Jesus went to the cross as the Lamb of God to take away the sin of the world. Jesus took the wrath of God for us so that by believing in Him for salvation, we may have eternal life and escape the just judgment of God.

All who place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ for salvation will be saved and will be able to know God's Wisdom, which comes from His Written Word.

So, are you tired of living in sin? Tired of living for the flesh? Do you want to know the Love of God that has be shown to us through His Son the Lord Jesus? Do you want to know true wisdom? Come today and place your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation. If you do, He will save you. For the Bible says:

"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Acts 16:31

Eternal life is a certain promise for all who place their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.

How do I know? Because God cannot lie.

Therefore, stop believing the lies of man that God is wrong. Believe in the Gospel and know the joy and peace of sin forgiven.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved! John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 16:31.
