During the summer, Creative Learning Center offers an 8-week camp for preschoolers and elementary students. Camp CLC runs from June 15th through August 7th, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am-5:30 pm.

We are seeking to hire a full-time lead teacher for 2-year-olds during camp, with the potential to continue working with our program for the school year!

Happy Mother's Day from CLC! Join us in celebrating all the amazing women who work hard for their families each and every day. And enjoy these pictures from "Muffins & Manicures with Mom" put together by two of our Fours classes! It was a fun morning of pampering and togetherness to say thank you for all moms do.

Family and friends of our Pre-K Fours, Fives, and Kindergarten classes are invited to attend our annual End-of-the-Year Program!

The program will take place on Friday, May 15th at 10:15 am in the sanctuary of Second Baptist Church.

Please note that ALL STUDENTS (Toddlers - Kindergarten) will be dismissed at 11:00 am on Friday. After being picked up, these students can be escorted by their parents/guardians to the rear parking lot for picnic fun!🍉

After School will run a normal schedule on May 15.

Did you know that in addition to this week being our spotlight on our After School program, this is also After School Appreciation Week? Although we'll be celebrating all of our staff during Teacher Appreciation Week in May, we want to give a special Shout Out to our AWESOME Elementary Team - April, Amy, Sydney, Kayleigh, Liz, and McKinley! We are so thankful for this awesome team within the CLC family!

Here's an excerpt from the National AfterSchool Association on the importance of these workers and why they deserve special recognition:

Last month, our very own CLC Director, Ainsleigh Gaskins, presented a session on “Building Your Leadership Team” at the Virginia Association for the Education of Young Children (VAAEYC) annual conference in Hampton.

We're so thankful to have Mrs. Gaskins at the head of our leadership team and appreciate her passion for sharing all she's learned in her career in early childhood education!
