Last week, many in our community had the opportunity to meet Nic Lawrence, Area Director of Young Life. Nic will be working with our community to relaunch this fabulous program. What a Godly man who has a heart for our youth!

Young Life has a great program that connects youth with Community & Faith based mentors. In this day, our youth need to know that they are LOVED and HEARD. They need people that care and will walk alongside and provide support. Are you interested in hearing more?

We are excited to be able to introduce Nic to the community on Tuesday February 27th. We have two time slots--- if you care about Youth or have been impacted by the ministry of Young Life, please consider attending. RSVP is a must.

Obviously you are interested in Greater Richmond Young Life and are probably aware of the lack of activities in the past 2 years. But remember everything is in God's TIME! We were recently contacted by the regional headquarters that the Lord has raised up an individual with awesome experience and wants a challenge! He will be coming to Richmond starting next week and working with our local leaders.

Greater Richmond Young Life Announcement!

We are so excited to make the official announcement that our very own Hannah Bass has accepted the position of Richmond Area Director! As many of you know, Hannah joined Young Life staff last year in a part-time capacity - working with both our high school and college students. We are very excited that she has accepted this new position and will continue to work with the students in Richmond for the years to come!

Message From Hannah:
Hello All! I am so eager to start this new role! I have loved this past year of getting to know the students, hanging out with them, and walking alongside them as we figure out this faith, Christianity, and life thing together! It has been wonderful working with Young Life this past year and I am looking forward to continuing - just in the Area Director capacity!
I am a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in Christian Education, went on to get my Masters in Christian Spirituality and Formation from Regent University. I am passionate about all things discipleship, outreach, and connecting with students and learning their stories. I am married to Cameron, who also has a background in ministry - you can catch him volunteering at our YL events, being a barista at Roscoe’s, or long boarding around town.

The leader team is eager for the February relaunch of Young Life! We can’t wait to hang out with you all once again! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions :)

Greater Richmond Young Life exists to introduce students to Christ and help them grow in their faith, we do this by creating safe spaces for students to ask questions, be themselves, and be surrounded by leaders who care about them on an individual level.
