On Sunday, 5/31, West Richmond Friends gathers at 9:30 AM for blended Waiting Worship in the traditional manner of Friends.

After worship, we will have separate fellowships. There is no Sunday School this week.

On Sunday, 5/24, West Richmond Friends gathers at 9:30 am for blended worship. This week, the prepared message will be delivered by Matthew Ciske on "The Arc of Creation," based on Psalm 104:24-34, 35b.

After worship, we will have separate fellowships. We will rejoin for Sunday School on Everyday Discernment with Elizabeth Terney at 11 AM

On Sunday, 5/17, West Richmond Friends gathers at 9:30 am for blended worship.This week the prepared message will be brought by April Vanlondon with reflections on Quantum Weirdness. The scriptures are 2 Chronicles 2:6 and Isaiah 55:8-9.

After worship, we will have blended fellowship in the library followed by Business Meeting at 11 AM.

On Sunday, 5/10, West Richmond Friends gathers at 9:30 am for blended worship. This week we’re having a hymn sing, along with recognition of graduates.

After worship, we will have a separate fellowship time, followed by a Sunday School on attracting younger attenders.

Greetings,

On Sunday, 5/3, West Richmond Friends gathers at 9:30 am for blended worship. This week, the prepared message will be brought by Colleen Wessel-McCoy with reflections on approaching Mother’s Day. The scriptures will be Isa 66:10-13; Isa 49:14-15; and Jer 31:15.

After worship, we will have fellowship separately, and at 11 AM, we will have a choice of activities. Erika Martinez, our education director, will be offering an intergenerational activity on Peace Gardens for in-person folks, and Elizabeth Terney will be offering Everyday Discernment in blended Sunday School.

On Sunday, 4/26, West Richmond Friends gathers at 9:30AM for blended bilingual worship. This week, the prepared message will be brought by Dinora Uvalle Vazquez on Acts 2:1-12.

After worship, we will have a very special blended fellowship in the worship room, including acknowledgment of those helpers who assisted our Cuban friends in settling in Richmond, and a presentation on a Latino Ministries project by Karla Jay of Friends United Meeting. This will be followed by a traditional separate fellowship at 11AM. We will have cake in the Fellowship Room.

Sunday, 3/22, West Richmond Friends gathers for blended Worship at 9:30 AM ET. This week, the prepared message will be brought by Elizabeth Terney on “Martha and Mary of Bethany” based on John 11:17-46 and 12:1-11.

We will have fellowship separately, then rejoin at 11AM for Sunday School on “Everyday Discernment,” taught by Elizabeth Terney.

We will have blended fellowship time following worship, in person and on Zoom (Friends in-person, meet in the library). Refreshments will be provided in the Meetinghouse.
