In Matthew 16:18, Jesus promised his disciples, “I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it." For 2,000 years, he has contiued to fulfill this promise. From the small band of disciples gathered in Jerusalem, his saving reign extends to every tribe, tongue, people, and nation through the ministry of his Spirit-empowered church (Acts 1:8; Rev. 7:9). We have the privilege of seeing that same promise fulfilled in our own day. As we celebrate all that God has done among us at Remnant Church—saving sinners, strengthening saints, and growing our congregation from humble beginnings to now three locations—we are reminded that the church is on the offensive. Christ is still keeping his promise, even as he advances his work through the faithful obedience of his people. Therefore, we embrace our role in the story of redemption by giving generously (2 Cor. 9:6–8), serving sacrificially (1 Pet. 4:10–11), proclaiming Christ boldly (Matt. 28:18–20), and preserving the unity of the Spirit as one church in three locations (Eph. 4:1–6). As the story continues, our prayer is that God would deepen our commitment to him and his church so that Christ would receive even greater glory.

Join us this Sunday at Remnant Midtown as we begin our Member Month series, "The Story Continues: One Church in Three Locations"

(No services will be held at Downtown)

“God guides his Church by the Spirit. This is critical, because sometimes He guides you to places that you would never go, sins you would never confess, and steps you would never take. But you can go because of confidence in the Guide who is with you!”

“Like the Chief Shepherd, pastors must feed the sheep with his Word—not with the junk food of their own thoughts, not starving them with Ted Talks and empty platitudes, but feeding them with the Scriptures, that they might become strong, healthy, and able to resist the wolves that are sure to come.”

From childcare to reading scripture, the body of Christ needs you! Get involved and join a service team! 🤲 ㅤ

The heart of the gospel is that Jesus came "not to be served, but to serve, and give his life as a ransom for many" (Mark 10:45). For those who follow Jesus, therefore, service is an essential rhythm of life (Phil. 2:3-4). Thus, we serve on various teams on Sundays, enabling us to gather together in an orderly way as we welcome others to worship Jesus with us. ㅤ

We would love to help you get connected to the life of Remnant Church by joining a service team.
