Join us for Climate Change Education as a Humanist Concern on Thursday, 4/20 at 7 PM ET. Climate change is shaping up to be a global crisis that will affect the lives of generations to come. Education is therefore a vital part of any plan to mitigate and adapt to the challenges of a changing climate, yet it is often overlooked. Unfortunately, there are substantial obstacles to climate change education. In “Climate Change Education as a Humanist Concern,” two experts on climate change education, Glenn Branch and Jason Wiles, will briefly discuss these obstacles and urge humanists in particular to help to overcome them.
