Fall is my favorite season. I like it for the temperature change and the cooler weather, for the harvest themes, and for the the changing of the leaves. Within the Fall season I can begin to see a very clear change in the world around me.
Through the season of Fall, I am reminded that life is consistently changing. We are always aging, and therefore changing. Jobs and responsibilities change. Families change. Politics change. National and local economics change. Relationships change. Strategies change. Health changes. In fact, if we cannot handle change, we will have a difficult time in this life.
In a world that is always changing, where do we find our anchor? Hebrews 13:8 tells us that, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” No matter the season or the circumstances, we can place trust in a God who is impervious to the restless, ceaseless change we experience. If Jesus has not changed, then all he taught has not changed, and the hope he provides us has not changed either. Take comfort knowing that regardless of what is changing around you, God has not.

This year, we are looking to serve 600 families through a Christmas box to be distributed at our LifeSpring Christmas on December 13th. Boxes will soon be available with instructions and lists on what to pack them with in order to meet the needs of our community and reach people with the love of Jesus!

Would you join me in fasting and praying for revival of 1000 more people in the next 5 years?
Would you pray for an available heart and mind to see how God desires to work through you and LifeSpring in the days to come?
Would you pray for provision and wisdom as we navigate some upcoming and significant costs for necessary repairs to both South and North campuses?

Lord, thank you for being a constant in our world of change. Thank you for loving us during our discomforts of change. Give us wisdom so that we might embrace change as you have designed it, for our betterment. Thank you for trusting us with your mission, to go and make disciples. Let it be so. In Jesus name, Amen.
