We all have seen Jesus misrepresented, either by the media, our crazy second cousin, or that soapbox preacher screaming into a megaphone on the corner. Most of us have some kind of picture of who Jesus is in our minds, but how can we know what he's really like?

This past Sunday, we kicked off a 14-week journey through the book of Hebrews that starts with one important question: What if the Jesus you've been carrying around is way too small?

HOW TO BE A BETTER FRIEND | Friday, June 12 from 7-10pm
How can we show up more intentionally for the people we care most about? Do you ever wish you had more insightful questions to ask to get to the heart of a conversation? Or find yourself at a loss for what to say when someone you care for is hurting?
In this one-evening seminar on Friday, June 12 from 7-10pm, we will consider how human beings are designed to connect and explore what dynamics in conversation lead to more openness and authenticity (and what unintentional habits can actually get in the way). The cost to attend is $10/person. Sign up at https://area10.ccbchurch.com/goto/forms/768/responses/new

How can a broken relationship come back from the brink? How can you learn to trust someone again after they hurt you? Relationships are complicated, and most of us were never actually taught how to communicate well, listen deeply, or handle conflict in healthy ways.

This Sunday, May 17, we wrapped up our Situationships message series with a live conversation, featuring counselor Lisa Ould from The Barnabas Center, as we talked honestly about what’s really going wrong in our relationships and how we can begin having better conversations that actually bring connection instead of frustration.
