The God I know and I believe in loves all, welcomes all, includes all, and wants us to do the same.
If you think God praises you for berating me in my comments, then that’s not my God 🤷♀️
✝️ I refuse to raise my sons to think they have to 100% believe every single thing about whatever faith they choose to be in.
✝️ I want them to ask hard questions, seek out answers, and say something when they hear hateful comments about anyone who isn’t white and Christian.
✝️ And I hope by me using my voice and supporting the LGBTQ+ community WHILE ALSO staying in the Catholic Church community shows them that despite what anyone else says or thinks, they can make their faith their own.
For me, God isn’t this scary being that you have to give up for, sacrifice for, or follow blindly.
For me, God is my partner, a constant source of comfort and guidance, giving me the faith I need when I need it most.
And I will continue to share content like this to show that all Christians aren’t Christian nationalists (but I see why one would think so 🤪😂) and to call in those who have a similar relationship with their faith to show them they’re not alone 🫶
