Richmond Theology on Tap Richmond Theology on Tap is held on the first Tuesday of each month. Currently held at St Michael's

Gather with other Richmond area young adults for beer, fellowship, and engaging talks and discussions on different areas of the Church's theology. We meet at Strangeways Brewing at 2277A Dabney Rd, Richmond, VA 23230 from 6-8pm on the first Tuesday of the month. Theology on Tap is a speaker series and an opportunity for young adults (ages 21-39) to explore topics of the Catholic faith in a fun and

casual setting. TOT started in the Archdiocese of Chicago in 1981 for young adults to come together as a community and learn about their faith. Over the past 40 years, it has spread across the nation to more than 180 parishes and six other countries. Other Theology on Tap Chapters in Virginia:

Adoration & Ariana's: Thursday, February 8th
Join us for Mass at 5:30pm, and Eucharistic Adoration and Confessions from 6:00pm-7:00pm. We will leave from the outdoor St. Benedict statue by 7:10pm and walk to Ariana's for dinner. Adoration and Hot Chocolate: Sunday, February 18th

VA March for Life: Wednesday, February 21st

Diocesan YA Lenten Reflection and Hike
Looking for a moment to pause and lean into your Catholic identity during the season of Lent? Join young adults from across the diocese for a day of Lenten Reflection at the Trappist-Cistercian abbey in Crozet! Talks will lead us “into the heights” of God’s love and be led by local speakers (including one of the nuns in residence). Lunch is included. After lunch, we will go “into the heights” by traveling to a local low- to medium-level hike. Daily Mass will be celebrated, and we will join the nuns for the Liturgy of the Hours and Eucharistic Adoration. The last day to register is Monday, March 11. Married Couples Retreat
We invite married couples from throughout the Diocese of Richmond to participate in our Married Couples Retreat at Wintergreen Resort on April 19- 20, 2024.The retreat is open to all married couples. We’ll have talks, prayer, Mass, and plenty of time for couples to spend with each other in conversation and reflection. The last day to register is March 17. Hi all! There has been a hiccup with the normal TOT venue, Strangeways Brewing, and the location for the January TOT will be at St. Michael's parish hall. Thank you to everyone who made it out Tuesday! Deacon Christopher gave a great talk. Hope to see everyone at our next TOT on November 7th. It is the same day as election day so make sure to vote and then come out.

If you are interested in learning more about the Eucharist, Deacon Christopher is starting a series about the Eucharist at St. Bridget starting on October 12th from 7-8:30pm in the St Bridget church hall.

Our Story

Gather with other Richmond area young adults for food, drink, fellowship, and engaging discussion on different areas of the Church's theology. Theology on Tap is a speaker series and opportunity for young adults to explore topics of the Catholic faith in a fun and casual setting. Theology On Tap started in the Archdiocese of Chicago in 1981 for young adults come together as a community and learn about their faith. Over the past 30 years, it has spread across the nation to more than 180 parishes and six countries. Richmond’s Theology on Tap is held on the first Monday of each month at Kitchen 64 located at 3336 N Boulevard, Richmond, VA.

While Theology on Tap is traditionally a Catholic young adult event, we welcome singles and married people of all backgrounds to attend.

Food and beverages need to be purchased by guest by 7:15pm. Talks start at 7:30 pm and end with a Q&A at 8:30 pm.
