Did you know that a family currently fostering one or more children in Virginia can receive a 50% discount on a family membership at participating YMCAs? No joining fees will be required when registering to become a member.

This benefit is open to foster families who are licensed through their local Department of Social Services or a private placement agency.

The YMCA has been a Foster Friendly Business Impact Partner with VKB since 2019 and we are so grateful for how they support foster families.

Christmas in near and our faith partners need your help collecting $50 gift cards for foster families in Henrico & Richmond City!

Just pick up a card for Target, Walmart, or Amazon when you’re running errands and drop it at 1 of 2 convenient locations by Monday!

The gift cards will be given to foster and adoptive families at a special Holiday Party on on Dec. 11th hosted by more than a dozen churches.

URGENT NEED: Sometimes we are made aware of dire situations that need immediate community response.

Through a local partnership, we have learned of a teenage girl who needs an immediate family and bed to sleep in. While the need is urgent and could be a short-term arrangement, we really hope to find a long-term solution that provides a stable home, loving care, and relational belonging for her.

Every child deserves that.
