This Sunday we continue our journey through Romans with a message titled: “BUT I’M A GOOD PERSON” - Romans 3:1–20
Most of us are willing to admit that we aren't perfect. We have made mistakes. We have said things we regret. We have sinned.
But even after admitting all of that, there is something within us that still wants to say, “But I'm a good person.”
Throughout the opening chapters of Romans, Paul has been stripping away the things we use to defend ourselves before God. This Sunday, he brings us face-to-face with a question we cannot answer by comparing ourselves to someone else: What does God say about us?
Come ready to let God's Word challenge the way you see yourself. Come ready to stop measuring yourself against everyone around you and ask the question that actually matters:
When my life is measured against the perfect righteousness of God, am I really as good as I think I am?
