Does God exist? How do I know? Can I earn my way to him? What about all the bad things I've done? Why do I do what I hate anyway? Can anyone love me as I am? Can anyone's love change me for the better?

A: Welcome to Romans. Not just any book of the Bible.

See you Sunday at 10:30am to start our journey through this profound letter. Every question-asker welcome!

Work -- perhaps the very thing that burns us out. But what if we need a new perspective on work? What if seeing things through God's eyes (and a guy name Bezalel) helps us find the life we seek? You're invited! Doors open at 10am; worship begins at 10:30am!

Bigger 401K. Fuller calendar. Nicer stuff. Jesus tells a story about a guy who had all three — and still missed his life. Let's learn how we can live differently. Join us Sunday; doors open at 10am for coffee and goodies. If new, we'd love to meet you.

Genesis 2 shows us a Creator who stops, not because He's tired, but because rest is woven into the DNA of a good creation. "Remember the Sabbath" isn't a new idea — it's an invitation to who we were created to be. Simply put, we're not built to run without rest.

Join us this week as we explore why the Sabbath isn't a rule to keep — it's a gift we struggle to receive.

📖 Genesis 2:1-3 | Exodus 20:8-11

You're welcome to join us; doors open at 10am!

Overnight help is available... check on your neighbors!

🏠Overnight Shelter Available!🏠

In partnership with the American Red Cross, our building at 110 South Second Street will be opened as an Overnight Shelter due to flooding across our community. Shelter is available for displaced individuals and families, or those at risk from flash flooding later tonight. Resource Navigators and Red Cross volunteers will be on-site to help community members work through this difficult time.

Overnight Shelter Details:
📍Enrich, 110 South Second Street
🕕Opening at 6:00PM on June 27th for overnight stay
1️⃣One night only - Resource Navigators and Red Cross representatives will help displaced families explore long-term arrangements.

Don't wait! More rain overnight will cause more flooding. The longer you wait to evacuate, the longer it will take first responders to reach you. Check on at-risk, elderly, or vulnerable neighbors so they can get to safety!

A huge thanks to many partners who are collaborating to see our community members taken care of: City of Richmond KY, Madison County KY, First Baptist Church of Richmond, Richmond House of Prayer, Encounter Church, all local first responder agencies, and numerous individual volunteers.

In light of conditions in Richmond and the use of our worship space for emergencies, Encounter Church will NOT be meeting for worship on Sunday, June 28 as usual. But church is not cancelled. Instead, you are SENT to serve your neighbors and those in our church family that are cleaning up. John 13:15.

You're invited to Encounter Church this Sunday to encounter the one true God. Doors opens at 10am; worship at 10:30am.

Elijah called down fire from heaven. Then outran a chariot. Then ran for his life and gave up. Most of us relate to the roller coaster of life that leads to exhaustion and burnout. The good news? God shows up. You’re invited to show up this Sunday as we launch on a journey of healing, self-examination, and reordering our lives under Jesus. Doors open at 10am; worship begins at 10:30am.

A man named Jude once sat down to write about salvation and joy… but ended up writing about something else entirely. Why? Because some things are worth defending. This Sunday we ask a question: Is our faith worth defending? If so, how? We’re excited to have our friend, Pastor Jamelle Jones, to Encounter Church to share with us! Doors open at 10am; worship begins at 10:30am. You are welcome here.
