This year, the Diocese of Hinche in Haiti is celebrating its 50th Anniversary, and on April 24th a thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated at their Cathedral. In 1983, the Diocese of Richmond began its outreach to those in Haiti. Now, over 50 parishes in the Diocese of Richmond are twinned with a parish, school, or other entity, with personal relationships serving as the foundation of the twinning program. During this Golden Jubilee, Bishop Desinord Jean is asking us, their partner Diocese, to unite with him in prayer for Haiti and for the future of the Diocese of Hinche.
