Thank you to The Advocate for amplifying our message that we are committed to providing a warm welcome for all our LGBTQ+ siblings. Pastor Tomoko began serving at Sycamore in the summer of 2023, and her role has gradually expanded over time. Initially, her ministry focused primarily on the Japanese-speaking congregation. Beginning in March 2024, her responsibilities expanded to include the English-speaking congregation, as part of Sycamore’s movement toward becoming “One Church.” She has Lay Ministerial Standing with the NCNC UCC for this new Call. All are invited to attend the service and reception!
