**🌹 Some people didn’t just attend the church… they helped BUILD it.**

Before there were programs, ministries, and memories we enjoy today, there were faithful people who **prayed, served, sacrificed, gave, and kept showing up.**

And this Saturday, we’re giving them their flowers. 💐

Join the New Direction family for our **Seniors Appreciation Celebration** as we honor the wisdom, prayers, and faithfulness of those who helped lay the foundation we’re still building on today.

This isn’t just an event. It’s our opportunity to say:

Pastor, can I ask you something? Why does God make me wait? 🙏🏽

Because sometimes the wait isn’t about what God is keeping from you. It’s about what He’s developing in you.

We know waiting can be hard—especially when you’ve prayed, stayed faithful, and still don’t see anything changing.

But don’t mistake silence for absence.
Don’t mistake delay for denial.

Some of God’s deepest work happens where nobody can see it. 🌱 While you’re asking, “God, when?” He may be strengthening your roots so you’ll be ready for the fruit that’s coming.

So if you’re in a waiting season today, don’t give up. God is still working.

What has God taught you while you were waiting? Share it below. Your testimony might encourage somebody today.
