Established in 1923, Sixth Baptist Church is located in the Byrd Park section of Richmond, Virginia. Under the leadership of our pastor Rev. Dr. Yvonne Jones Bibbs, our faith community strive to be a force of evangelism in the city through holistic outreach. We seek to provide a worship dynamic which is multi-ethnic and relevant, equipping people to be kingdom laborers, and to actively engaging in

spiritual warfare against injustices and strongholds that keep people and communities from being whole.

What a mighty move of God we experienced on this Pentecost Sunday! 🔥🙌🏾

Our Pastor, Rev. Dr. Yvonne Jones Bibbs brought a mighty Word that stirred hearts and uplifted spirits. The Fleming Memorial Male Chorus sang with power and anointing, blessing the congregation through song, while the W.E. Praise Dance Ministry ministered beautifully through dance.

Most importantly, heaven rejoiced as a soul gave her life to the Lord! What an awesome reminder that the power of Pentecost is still alive and changing lives today.
