Established in 1923, Sixth Baptist Church is located in the Byrd Park section of Richmond, Virginia. Under the leadership of our pastor Rev. Dr. Yvonne Jones Bibbs, our faith community strive to be a force of evangelism in the city through holistic outreach. We seek to provide a worship dynamic which is multi-ethnic and relevant, equipping people to be kingdom laborers, and to actively engaging in

spiritual warfare against injustices and strongholds that keep people and communities from being whole.

What a beautiful day at SBC as we celebrated our Deacons, Deaconesses, and Trustees for their faithful service and dedication to God's work.

We were blessed by the powerful message from Rev. Clement James Jr. Assoc. Min. Memorial Baptist Church, Harlem, New York. He preached, “Find Your Place On The Wall”. ( Neh. 4:6)

To our honorees, thank you for your leadership, commitment, and servant hearts. Your faithfulness continues to be a blessing to our church family.

A special thanks to Pastor Bibbs for her leadership, our guest saxophonist Bro. Neal Bowens, the SBC Praise Team for their music ministry and Deacon Mary Cooper who served as the worship leader.

A wonderful day of worship, gratitude, and celebration.
