We at Ginter Park UMC support this organization every year on Veterans Day Weekend with our “Housewarming for the Homeless Veterans” 2-day event! The Liberation campus is located at 5503 Midlothian Tpk. They also have a huge thrift store for all you bargain hunters out there!

Feel Good Friday: A Heart for Helping💙

LVS resident and U.S. Army Veteran Mr. Phelps has a strong heart for helping others.

In March 2026 Mr. Phelps joined the Food Pantry Team, where he has become a dedicated and valued .

Mr. Phelps assists with organizing items, lifting and transporting boxes, and ensuring the pantry operates smoothly. He finds great joy in assisting individuals as they select their food, offering not only but also words of that uplift and inspire.

Mr. Phelps is a man who has found renewed purpose in life, using his strength, , and commitment to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
