NO Sunday school or worship service this morning, Sunday, July 27, 225. Due to a lack of power to the building and surrounding neighborhoods from a downed tree, Virginia Dominion power’s last update says that they hope to have power restored to the community between 11 AM and 4 PM today. Please stay safe and contact a Deacon if you have a special need.

Proceeds from the event (booth fees, concessions, raffles, etc.) will go towards the North Run Baptist Church mission trip to Japan in July. Join us this Sunday as Pastor Adam begins a new series. ‘Disciples in a Digital Age.’ We will explore how wisdom helps us to think through the vast influence of social media and digital technologies in our lives. Data suggest that well-over 90% of Americans have a smart phone - spending an average of about 4.5 hours a day on their phones. That equates to about 1 day of 'wake-time' each week, or about 70 days every year - and a large portion of life! While recent studies are showing concerning signs about the impact of social media into our real social lives - we also know that it is not all bad and much good is done and comes from it. So then, we need wisdom if we are to use these devices and new technologies rightly. With the advent of Aritifical Intelligence and our increasingly digitally dependent age, wisdom is required!

Join us Sunday at 11AM as we open, have community, sing and pray together, and open God’s word to consider this very important part of our lives. Children's activities and programming is available for your children.
