1 Thessalonians 5:18,
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

I want you to take note that this scripture instructs us to give thanks in everything, not for everything. When there’s tragedy, sorrow and strife we are not to “Thank God”for them. The Lord is not the author of confusion nor the creator of evil. By trusting God, you can acknowledge he’s able to work all things together for your good.

Even your worst painful experiences can be reversed to work out in your behalf. Take a moment to find someone and something in your life you can be thankful to share your appreciation with everyday. Purpose in your heart that you will Always Give Thanks unto the Lord! Why? It’s an expression of your gratitude for His mercy and goodness that endures for ever!

Psalms 136:1, “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: For his mercy endureth for ever.” King David realized the importance of giving thanks continually unto the Lord.
It opened David’s heart to see the supernatural manifestation of God’s presence by giving him praise, and thanksgiving.

Psalm‬ ‭100‬:‭4‬, “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”
Spring forth your praise with thanksgiving by expressing His truth that endures through all generations! Always Be Willing To Be Thankful!

My message to the body is:
“WHY SHOULD WE ALWAYS GIVE THANKS?”

Just like a police officer can direct traffic because he’s backed by the government, you have authority backed by the government of Heaven.

“For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”

Many times Christians think Jesus is going to do everything for them; they do not realize they have a part to play. Notice that Romans 5:17 doesn’t say, “Jesus Christ will reign through you.” No! It says, “…THEY [that’s us] which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” This verse says that you and I will reign. Of course, it’s by, or because of, Jesus Christ that we have this authority, but He has given us the authority to rule and reign!

Many times people say, “I’ve left it up to the Lord; He’s going to do it.” But, no, the real truth about the matter is, He has left it up to you! Let’s find out our place and position. Let’s find out how we are to respond to the will of God and receive!
