Our Welcoming Congregation focuses on fostering acceptance, inclusion, understanding and equity for gay, le***an, bisexual, and/or transgender (g/l/b/t) persons of all colors, both within the UUA and in society at large. The Principles of the UUA clearly affirm, promote, and welcome people from all cultures, religious backgrounds, and lifestyles in their own personal pursuit of religious truth. Th

ere are seven principles which Unitarian Universalist congregations affirm and promote:

1. Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;

3. Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;

4. A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;

5. The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;

6. The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;

7. Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.

Happy holidays from the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Madison County KY! We had our holiday service this past Sunday, which included lots of singing and even a small play!

Please note that we will be closed for the following two Sundays, December 24th and 31st.

We will resume our regular services January 7th!

Sunday, August 6, one of our founding members, Ann Stebbins will be speaking about "The Population Puzzle." Whether or not you are puzzled, join us Sunday morning. There will be an opportunity to ask questions that might help solve the puzzle.

Our Story

Unitarian Universalism is a liberal religion that encompasses many faith traditions. Unitarian Universalists include people who identify as Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Pagans, Atheists, Agnostics, Humanists, and others. As there is no official Unitarian Universalist creed, Unitarian Universalists are free to search for truth on many paths. Although we uphold shared principles, individual Unitarian Universalists have varied beliefs about everything from scripture to rituals to God.
