Living Well Ministries

Living Well Ministries (John 4:10 - KJV) Living Well Ministries seeks to improve the lives of children and men by healing the hurt of the women in their lives.

"Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked him, and he would have given thee living water." Our ministry outreach includes spiritually-based social programming, facilitation of individual and support group mental wellness sessions, charitable donations towards self-care and other needs meeting efforts such as workforce development and entrepreneurship.

Thirsty Thursday Prayer

Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts, lifting up BLACK WOMEN everywhere who face unique and profound challenges. Lord, we pray for SPIRITUAL MATURITY and obedience, that each of us grows deeply in our faith and strength, walking closely with You in wisdom, patience, and resilience. Let Your voice guide our every decision, empowering us to be reflections of Your grace in a world that may not always understand us.

Lord, we bring before You the issues of BLACK MATERNAL HEALTHCARE and INFANT MORTALITY. We ask for compassionate, skilled, and understanding healthcare providers who prioritize our lives and our children. Surround each of us with the resources and support we need for a safe and healthy journey through pregnancy and beyond. May every child be cherished, healthy, and protected under Your care.

Father, we pray for SINGLE MOTHERS and the strength needed to raise our children. Grant us wisdom, support, and encouragement as we provide love, guidance, and stability. Be the guiding light for wayward children, Lord; bring them back to You and to the love and peace of found through you Word. For those in FOSTER CARE, surround them with love and safety; let them feel Your presence even in times of loneliness, and place them with people who love and value them.

For every woman struggling with MENTAL HEALTH, provide us with tools and people who understand and support our journey to wellness. Give us the courage to seek help, to prioritize our own well-being, and to know that we are not alone. And for those facing challenges in employment, education, and entrepreneurship, open doors, Lord. Give us opportunities to shine, to grow, and to thrive, reflecting the gifts You have planted within us.

We cry out for those trapped in the darkness of HUMAN TRAFFICKING, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, and ADDICTION. Free us, Father, from the chains that hold us captive. Raise up communities, leaders, and organizations that fight for our safety and dignity, so we may find restoration and healing in You. Lord, please bring peace, safety, and the path of recovery for all.

Father, cover Black women in Your love, courage, and resilience. Be our strength, comfort, and protector in every battle we face. May Your presence be a constant reminder of our worth, power, and purpose.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
We are not just our sister’s keeper…
We are our sisters!

Grief Liberation Exercise:

- OPENING: Start by naming the emotion (e.g., "Dear Sadness").
- EXPRESS Yourself: Share how this emotion has impacted you. Describe specific moments when you felt it strongly.
- ACKNOWLEDGE Its Role: Consider why this emotion has surfaced. What does it represent about your grief journey?
- REQUEST Understanding: Ask the emotion what it needs from you. What can you do to acknowledge it in a healthy way?
- CONCLUSION: End with a note of compassion, thanking the emotion for being part of your healing process.

I want to mention something about the spirituality debate in America right now.
If You don't believe in God? That’s your choice, I'm not one to judge, because I'm not the judge.

So Why is it important for some to mock those of us that do? If we're wrong, what have we lost when we die? Nothing! How does our believing in Jesus bring any harm? You think it makes us stupid? Gullible? Fine. How does that affect you?

I would rather live my life believing in God and serving Him, and find out I was right, than not. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; Romans 1:16a

- Greatest man in history, had no servants, yet they called him MASTER.
- Had no degree, yet they called him TEACHER. Had no medicines, yet they called him HEALER.
- He had no army, yet kings feared Him.
- He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world.
- He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him.
- He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.
AND IS COMING BACK... y’all

His name is JESUS… introducing my Savior!
If you're not ashamed copy to your page. AMEN
