Power Moment Wednesday
Today, I want to speak about the “BEAUTIFUL GIFT” God offers each of us every day — the opportunity for a fresh start.
No matter our past mistakes, failures, or regrets, God's grace invites us into renewal and hope. “Let us be inspired to embrace this fresh start with faith and courage”.
1. God’s Promise of Renewal
In Isaiah 43:18-19, God says, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
God is always working to make things new in our lives for he plans for us.
In 2 Corinthians 5:17, Paul writes, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
This transformation is not just spiritual, but practical.
While God offers the fresh start freely, we must be willing to step into it. This means:
• Letting go of guilt and shame.
• Forgiving ourselves and others.
• Setting new goals based on God’s will for our lives.
• Trusting Him daily for guidance and strength.
Philippians 3:13-14 encourages us, “...One thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal…” This pressing forward requires intentional faith and action.
4. Encouragement to the Congregation
If you feel stuck today, remember that each morning is a fresh beginning.
NUGGET: God hasn’t written your story’s last chapter yet. His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).
