The mission of the Church Ambassador Network is to inspire the Church to engage government for the advance of God’s Kingdom. We accomplish this by connecting the shepherds of God’s Church (pastors) to God’s shepherds of government (the “king,” or today’s elected officials).

On this "World Beard Day," we're reminded of the words of former Governor Richard Coke, who reminded Texans of the "high duties of American citizenship.”

Citizenship isn't merely about voting. It's about responsibility, service, sacrifice, seeking the good of our neighbors, and as Christians, we have an even greater calling: to engage the places where God has planted us as people who belong first to Christ and His Kingdom.

Our culture doesn’t need the Church to become more political; tt needs the Church to become more faithful!

Faithful to Scripture.
Faithful to the Gospel.
Faithful to prayer.
Faithful to loving our neighbors.
Faithful to speaking truth with grace.

We believe the Church has a vital role to play in the public square, but not because politics is our mission. It's because Jesus is our King and His people are called to be salt and light wherever He sends them.

God's people were living in a place they never expected to call home and yet God told them to seek the prosperity and peace of that city, AND to pray for it.

We may not agree with everything happening around us, but we are still called to seek the good of the communities where God has placed us. That means serving, praying, building relationships, speaking truth, and looking for opportunities to make a difference.

We don't engage our community because we love the culture more than Christ, but because we love our neighbors and want them to experience the good God intends for them.

The Church doesn’t belong on the sidelines.

That's because we are called to make disciples, love our neighbors, serve our communities, proclaim the Gospel, and seek the good of the places where God has planted us, which includes engaging the people and institutions that shape our communities and our state.

Not with fear.
Not with hostility.
Not with political allegiance.

But with biblical conviction, genuine love, and the hope of Jesus.

What happens when pastors sit down with the people who govern our state Well, relationships are built, conversations happen, prayers are offered, and the Gospel is shared.

We believe those who shepherd the Church have a unique opportunity to minister to those who carry the responsibility of governing; Shepherd to shepherd, church to government, and person to person.

It starts with a relationship.
