On the evening of Monday, April 20, a Richmond Hill family experienced a house fire resulting in the loss of a longtime resident and husband of 44 years, their family pet, and their home.

Mrs. Wanda Tuma, the surviving family member, is temporarily residing at a local hotel with assistance from the American Red Cross. The community has organized several ways for residents to support her recovery.

Gift cards to local Richmond Hill restaurants are also being accepted, as Mrs. Tuma currently has limited kitchen access.

• Medium pants (size 10–12)

• Basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant)
