Good evening! I just wanted to give an update on how the ministry has been going. We started back once again last October returning to Coastal on Monday Nights. What a blessing that was and having Bro. Mark from our church going with me and thankful that he was also able to go at times when I was not able to. God was working and not long after that we were told once again that we would not be able to return due to the shortage in Security. About three weeks ago I received a call from the Chaplain asking if we could return but that we would have to come early afternoons. So once again we are back to going on Mondays at 2PM. I can't thank the Lord enough for these opportunities. This afternoon we had 16 men in the service with three making a profession of faith. Praise The Lord!! I was able to sign all three of them up for discipleship materials. We appreciate all of your continued prayers and support. Mark 16:15

What a blessing it has been getting to go back into the Prisons. We have not had the opportunity to go for over a year now when everything took place with COVID-19. Our first night back was on Monday 08/18/21 Praise the Lord we had 14 men in the service. During the past year we have been able to deliver bibles for the men, but going back was a blessing for me personally. This is a ministry that God has blessed us with and I thank him everyday for calling me to the Prison Ministry. We are looking forward to the weeks and months ahead. God is good all the time! 4-12-2020-A Great Day Resurrection Sunday has been. I look back to the year 1985 after working in the jail ministry with young people for 2 years. I new the Lord was calling me to the prisonministry I talked
to the Chaplain and he asked me about preaching on a Friday night at Coastal State Prison. That’s when I was asked about taking the Sunrise Service in 3 month’s. There would be two service’s first at 5:30 AM a sunrise service then 6:30 AM. Pastor Carlton Cooper and Bro Ken Love was going with me. Bro Carlton asked me about Bro Ken preaching
first and He did. We had 30 minutes but Bro Love took about 45 minutes and that did not go good with the chaplain, but he was not going to say anything to a 6ft 6 and 300 lb man . He just told me Bro Walker you only have 5 minutes and I knew why but in that 5 minutes there was one man who said that he got saved. Thank you Lord for that one salvation and that folks is what it’s all about. For over 35 years we have been in a lot of prisons and still working at Coastal State Prison on Monday night’s. Thank you Lord and I thank Bethel Baptist Church and Pastor Brian for been a blessing to me and my family this has been our home Church and we love each and every one of you. May God bless Happy Easter HE has Risen!
