AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed," taken from 2 Timothy 2:15:

"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."

Awana meets Wednesday evenings during the school year from 6:30–8:00 PM and provides a fun, Christ-centered environment where children learn God's Word, memorize Scripture, build lasting friendships, and grow in their faith.

Classes are available for:

Cubbies — Preschool 3s and 4s (by September 1)
Sparks — Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade
T&T (Truth in Training) — 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade

As we prepare for another exciting Awana year, we're in need of additional leaders in every age group. To maintain safe leader-to-child ratios and make the best use of our available classrooms, we can only open as many classes as we have leaders to serve.

🥳 We are celebrating all that God has done during VBS this year. Our Celebration Service was filled with joy, worship, and powerful moments as we reflected on an incredible week.

We are especially grateful to share that 13 children made the decision to accept Christ, and many more seeds were planted in young hearts. We know God is continuing to work, and we are praying these seeds grow strong in faith.

Thank you to every volunteer, leader, and family who made this week so special. Your love, time, and dedication made an eternal impact.

📣 Sunday Service Update

Please note that this Sunday, our children's schedule will look a little different. There will be no Kids Worship during the first service and no Sunday School/Children's Church during the second service as usual.

All of our children will remain in the worship service to help lead us in singing the special VBS songs before the sermon. We are excited for our church family to celebrate what God has been doing through VBS and to hear our kids share what they've learned this week!

👶 Nursery will be available for children 24 months and under only.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We can't wait to worship together this Sunday and celebrate all that God has done! ❤️⛪🎶

🪩 We made it to Day 5 of VBS, Jesus is God’s plan for forgiveness and what an incredible week it has been!

Through every song, lesson, and activity this week, our kids have learned that God loves them deeply and made a way for us to be forgiven through Jesus. That is the greatest gift of all.

We are also so thankful to share that, together, we reached our goal of $5,000 this week to support Camp Rock of Georgia! Thank you to everyone who gave, prayed, and helped make this possible. Your generosity is making a difference. To celebrate, we broke out the silly string and had some extra fun! 🤩

It has been such a joy watching these children grow, worship, laugh, and learn together. We are so thankful for every volunteer, parent, and child who made this week so special.

Let’s keep the conversation going at home. Ask your kids what they learned about forgiveness and how Jesus shows His love for us every day.
Thank you for being part of an amazing week at VBS!

Don’t forget, we’ll celebrate VBS this Sunday at both the 9:00am and 10:30am services! 🎶
